History

History Of Our Institution

Darul Aman Islamic Complex, Kalladikode, established in 1988, emerged from the sincere efforts of visionary scholars and socially committed well-wishers who recognized the urgent need for a structured Islamic educational center in the region. Beginning with modest facilities and a small group of students, the institution initially focused on madrasa education and character formation, gradually gaining recognition for its disciplined environment and dedication to authentic Sunni teachings under the guidance of Samastha Kerala Jem-iyyathul Ulama. As years passed, increasing community trust and support enabled the campus to expand both academically and physically, adding well-equipped classrooms, a central mosque for congregational prayers, library facilities to encourage research and reading, and residential accommodations for students coming from distant areas. A significant chapter in its development was the establishment of the Sharee’a College, which elevated the campus into a higher center of Islamic scholarship by offering advanced studies in Qur’an, Hadith, Fiqh, Arabic language, and related Islamic sciences. At the same time, the orphanage was founded as a compassionate initiative to provide shelter, education, and holistic care to orphaned and underprivileged children, ensuring they grow in a nurturing and spiritually enriching environment. Over the decades, the campus has also hosted religious gatherings, seminars, spiritual conferences, and community outreach programs aimed at spreading awareness, strengthening moral values, and fostering unity. Today, Darul Aman Islamic Complex stands as a well-established institution that harmoniously blends education, spirituality, and social responsibility. From its humble beginnings to its present stature, the campus continues to uphold its founding vision—serving as a beacon of knowledge, compassion, discipline, and community development for Kalladikode and surrounding regions.
